Alexandra Lee

is a filmmaker, writer and performer. 
A fan of the color red.

She writes eccentric characters who yearn for connection and dream-like worlds
filled with music. 

 

Alexandra is a classically trained soprano with various repertoire in jazz, musical theater, pop/contemporary and opera.


A deep lover of the cabaret.

Alexandra's film While He Talks was selected at Black Bear Film Festival and We Make Movies International Film Festival.

She has acted opposite Alan Cumming in "Instinct" (CBS), sang in concert for Musical Theatre West, performed "Antonia"
in The Tales of Hoffmann, "Johanna" in Sweeney Todd, and "Mary Lennox" in The Secret Garden with Full Circle Opera Project. With the New School for Drama, she performed "Li'l Bit" in How I Learned to Drive, directed Neil Simon's Jake's Women while playing the role of "Julie", and originated the role of "Clara", a 19th century ghost haunting a desolate North Dakota oil town, in Molly Haas-Hooven's The House Itself Does Not Burn.

Her plays have premiered in New York at The Producer's Club and The Tank.
Her writing is featured in Sustain The Mag and Mixed Mag.​

Alexandra has directed and produced branded content for select clients Gensler, Recess, AllianceBernstein and Vermicular.
